God's Way is an Independent Baptist Church. Some wonder what that means. Simply put, we are a traditional Baptist church in theology and practice, and though we are not part of any particular denomination or convention, we fellowship with other churches with which we agree in faith and practice. Some of the distinctions of God's Way are our fervent worldwide missions outreach, traditional worship, ministry wide use of the King James Version of the Bible, and leadership which encourages believers to be distinctly different from the world by being wholly set apart for God's use in every area of life.

Chadwick T. Teal, Pastor
In April of 2002, after serving as an Assistant Pastor in N.C., Pastor Teal came to God's Way Baptist Church to serve as Assistant Pastor. In 2006 he accepted the call to serve as Senior Pastor of God's Way. Pastor Teal was raised in the Southeast having lived, studied and worked in S.C., N.C., GA, FL, and AL. He has a strong passion for practical holy living and personal evangelism. He is married to Stacy and has four energetic children, Tyler, Caedon, Ashleigh, and Abbie who are all being educated at home.
